Splash is a signature architectural glass sculpture that transforms the beauty of moving water into a striking three-dimensional work of art. Created exclusively for the new DEWA headquarters in Dubai, the sculpture embodies innovation, sustainability, and the dynamic energy that defines the city.

Standing at the heart of the interior, Splash rises with a graceful, fluid motion, as if a powerful column of water has been frozen in time. Composed of 350 individually crafted artistic glass sheets, each precisely shaped and assembled, the sculpture captures light from every angle, creating a constantly changing visual experience throughout the day.

Weighing 982 kilograms, the artwork demonstrates exceptional engineering combined with master glass craftsmanship. Despite its substantial mass, the composition appears remarkably light, with transparent glass layers producing an elegant sense of movement and depth.

With dimensions of 200 cm in diameter and 150 cm in height, Splash commands attention while maintaining perfect visual harmony within the surrounding architecture. Positioned above a circular reflective base, the sculpture becomes a natural focal point that welcomes visitors and enhances the building's contemporary interior.

A key feature of the installation is its programmable dynamic lighting system, which transforms the sculpture through a sequence of carefully designed lighting scenes. The illumination reveals the internal structure of the layered glass, emphasizing transparency, reflections, and refractions while creating an ever-changing artistic atmosphere. During different times of day and for special events, the sculpture presents entirely new visual identities through color, intensity, and movement of light.

Inspired by the power, purity, and continuous flow of water, Splash symbolizes energy, sustainability, and innovation—values that perfectly align with DEWA's vision for the future. The sculpture merges traditional artistic craftsmanship with advanced engineering and lighting technology, resulting in an iconic installation that is both a work of art and an architectural centerpiece.
